OIM & OAM 10g Installation and Configuration Part 1

In this post we are going to see installation and Configuration of Oracle Identity and Access Manager 10g

Download Oracle Access Manager Core Components (10.1.4.3.0) :

Location: 
windows:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/101401-099957.html

Linux:
http://download.oracle.com/otn/linux/middleware/11g/ofm_oam_core_linux_10.1.4.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip

Note:

• Don't Install Identity Manger and WebPass on Same folder
• Install Webpass and Policy Manager at same folder level. 

We have three types of stores in this: 

• Policy Store
• User Store and
• Configuration Store

Make sure that any of webserver and Directory Server are available before starting installation. 

Preferred Webserver for Linux: Oracle HTTP Server

Preferred Webserver for installing on Windows Server: IIS Server

Preferred Directory Server: Oracle Internet Directory or Active Directory
