In this lab we are going to see the steps needs to be performed for installing Oracle Identity and Access Management.
Note: Here we are assuming that you have downloaded all the software as per your environment. Also at some place you will find to link for old version installation but make sure you have the latest version with you. We have provided that link because the steps are same. Also we are assuming that you are performing installation on different machines for OIM,OAM,OUD and database. If not then please make necessary changes as per your need.
OIM Installation Steps:-
1) Database Installation
2) Pre-Requisite Checks
3) Installing Life Cycle Management(LCM) tool
4) Running the Health Check Utility
5) Patching before OIM Installation
6) Creating Response file for OIM Installation
7) Installing OIM using LCM tool
8) Patching after OIM Installation
OAM Installation Steps:-
1) Database Installation
2) Pre-Requisite Checks
3) Installing Life Cycle Management(LCM) tool
4) Running the Health Check Utility
5) Patching before OAM Installation
6) OUD Installation
7) Creating Response file for OAM Installation
8) Installing OAM using LCM tool
8) Patching after OAM Installation
If you install OIM and OAM using LCM on the same machine you will observer that it will automatically perform the OIM-OAM Integration with OUD as default identity store. Once the script install everything it will start the server at the backend. The default URL's are
OIM URL:-
1. http://<HostName>:7777/console
2. http://<HostName>:7777/em
3. http://<HostName>t:7777/identity
